Lab14
This lab assignment is the start of the coding process in creating your final project.
The basis for this assignment will come from the last week's assignment, "Planning Web Project".
Your web site project must be a direct implementation of your planning assignment from last week. Additional material and minor changes are acceptable. Topic changes or major redesigns are discouraged.
Have your name in the title of the first page, or have your name in comments somewhere at the beginning of the html code of the first page.
The first page in your website should have the filename of "index.html".
All the pages in the site should have the same basic "look and feel" so that the site looks whole, complete, and professional. Same "look and feel" means that in general, fonts, colors, layouts, etc, look similar and contiguous between all the pages on the site.
Be sure you are utilizing an external style sheet and all pages are using that external style sheet.
Make sure your site looks good at various resolutions. Make sure your web site displays properly at an 1280 pixel wide resolution. You can do this by resizing your browser window or changing the screen resolution of your computer for testing. Be aware that most people do not have their browser full width of the screen. Most people use about 2/3 width of the screen. On a 1920 pixel wide screen, that works out to be about 1280 pixels.
Things to keep in mind:
Expectations for this week:
This week is for you to work on your website which will be your final project.
At this time I do not expect a perfectly polished website. There may be some minor details that still need to be worked out over the following week.
However, what I do expect, is that all of the pages to your website have been created and the menu links between the pages are functional.
Turning in your assignment:
Your instructor will go over your screenshots to make suggestions and improvements.
They will be graded promptly and feedback will be given.
