Lab15 Final
This lab assignment is the finishing of the coding process of your final project that you started last week. This assignment is also the presentation of the project to the class.
Make sure your site looks good at various resolutions. Make sure your web site displays properly at a 1280 pixel wide resolution. You can do this by resizing your browser window or changing the screen resolution of your computer for testing. Be aware that most people do not have their browser full width of the screen. Most people use about 2/3 width of the screen. On a 1920 pixel wide screen, that works out to be about 1280 pixels.
Things to keep in mind:
Expectations for this week:
This week is for you to finish your website which is your final project. The website should be polished and have no errors.
You have two options for presenting your website to the class:
1) Have your website ready to present during the normally schedule class time live via Zoom This is the easier of the two options as your instructor will be recording the class via Zoom as normal and will capture the presentation.
2) Or have a prerecorded presentation of your website done before the due date and time. This method is a bit harder as it will be your responsibility to make the recording. Various ways of making the recording:
A) Use your Zoom account to make the recording and post the Zoom link to the D2L dropbox.
or B) Use recording software of your choice to create a YouTube video and create a public or unlisted video (it cannot be private) and post the YouTube video link to the D2L dropbox.
or C) Use recording software of your choice and create a video in mp4 format and upload the entire video to the D2L dropbox.
Notes on presenting:
Turning in your assignment:
1) Present live in class (instructor made the recording), or turn in a link to the recording to the dropbox, or submit a mp4 recording to the dropbox.
2) Zip up your entire website project. Be sure to include all files required to make the website work. Submit the zip file to the D2L dropbox.
Note:
I publish some student websites to the course website as inspiration to future students taking the course. If you do not want your website published, please let me know in the D2L comments when you submit your work.
