Band Member Bios

Bill Litzau started Bill Litzue and Open Highway in 2016 after the break up of Blurred Vision. He is the singer and leader of the band handling all the bookings and other "management" aspects. Bill also has writen and recorded a number of original songs. Many of these songs are played at live shows, mixed in with a wide variety of popular cover tunes, and all are available on all streaming platforms.

Kota Rainwater is a 2020 graduate of HLWW and currently is attending Minnesota State University Mankato for Automotive Engineering. Kota has been playing bass for Open Highway since 2017 at the age of 15.

Chad Molva has been the Open Highway drummer since 2017. Chad and Bill were together in Blurred Vision for a number of years till it disbanded in 2016. For a year, he played drumms with Stone Daisy, a Country Band based in the Twin Cities, until rejoining Bill in Open Highway. Prior to Blurred Vision, Chad played drums for Clover, a Classic Rock band out of Hutchison, in the 90's and 2000's.

Dave Beattie is a full time guitartist/singer out of Richfield that has been playing with Open Highway for 3 years. In addition to Open Highway, Dave also plays with Raytown, Shalo Lee Band along with various other bands based in the Twin Cities area.

Joe Maruska is a guitartist out of Gaylord and has been playing with open Highway since 2017. Joe has been involved in a variety of projects, traveling the 5 state area, been involved with a number of small acoustic shows with friends and continues to work with Open Highway.
