Becoming The Archetype
An American extreme metal band formed in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1999.
The members are professed Christians, and the band takes its name from Genesis 1:26: "God said,
'Let us make man in our image.'" Since Jesus Christ was the only person to ever be sinless,
He was the archetype of humanity; the band's name reflects this belief. In 2008, the lead singer, Jason Wisdom,summed up the band's philosophy,
stating "If we are not making a difference for the Lord, then we are just out there making noise!"
Cleansing of the Temple
Comprised of Gavin James (vocals), Matthew Clark (guitar),
Dustin Duvall (guitar), and Rasheen Johnson (drums), the band formed in 2019 and has been rolling out a steady stream of singles and EP's since 2020.
For Today
For Today was an American Christian metalcore band from Sioux City, Iowa, formed in 2005.
They released two EPs, Your Moment, Your Life, Your Time and Prevailer, and six full-length albums: Ekklesia in, 2008, Portraits in 2009,
Breaker in 2010, Immortal in 2012, Fight the Silence in 2014, and Wake in 2015.
Sadly, The band split up in 2016.
